I have spent the last 2 days trying to set up an Epson Stylus Color 800 on my machine. From root I can cat 'textfile' > /dev/lp0. But that is all. I have magicfilter installed with stcolor filter specified. From what I've read, only root can access the printer? There must be a way around this. The other 2 people in the household will surely rebel if I am the only one that can print. I have been reading how-to's and man pages till I am blue. I can not access lists.debian.org for some reason. Any help will be appreciated. We are running kernel 2.2
