I tried to reach lists.debian.org to search the archives, but I haven't been able to reach it for some days now.
In the beginning of my LaTeX document I use the following: ------ \documentclass[norsk,a4paper,openright]{book} \usepackage{babel} \usepackage[latin1]{inputenc} \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} \usepackage{epsfig} ------ Then, when I try to run latex on the file I get: ------ This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.3.1) (document.ltx LaTeX2e <1999/12/01> patch level 1 Babel <v3.6Z> and hyphenation patterns for american, french, german, ngerman, n ohyphenation, loaded. (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/book.cls Document Class: book 1999/09/10 v1.4a Standard LaTeX document class (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/bk10.clo)) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/babel/babel.sty (/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/babel/norsk.ldf (/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/babel/babel.def) Package babel Warning: No hyphenation patterns were loaded for (babel) the language `Norsk' (babel) I will use the patterns loaded for \language=0 instead. )) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/inputenc.sty (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/latin1.def)) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/fontenc.sty (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/base/t1enc.def)) (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/graphics/epsfig.sty (/usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/graphics/graphicx.sty ------ OK, so it doesn't find Norwegian language support for hyphenation. How do I get this? I cannot understand which package I should install. (I have inorwegian, ispell, tetex-base, tetex-bin, tetex-doc and tetex-extra packages installed.)
