I have a LinkSys LNE100TX, Revision 2. My card's chip was
manufactured by Lite-On however I think all the LNE100TX revisions are
"tulip" clones.
I simply added
alias eth0 tulip
to /etc/modutils/network and ran 'update-modules' as root. The stock
kernel has the tulip (among others) driver already compiled as a
module.
