Hi, I would like to compile "gbonds", a GPL US bond management system, from snaught.com/gbonds on Debian potato. The requirements are libgnome 1.2.x, gtk+ 1.2.7 and libxml 1.8.x and gnome-print 0.25.
I installed libgnome-dev which installs libgtk1.2-dev and I also installed libxml-dev. All this went fine but libgnome is 1.0.56 and the gnome-print is 0.10. How can I install the libgnome32 development headers/libs so I can get this compiled and working without conflicting with my perfectly usable system? I looked on the packages page for testing and can't find the libgnome-dev package. Thanks for help, Eric
