hi,
i'm battling with modules myself at the moment, but i already see the light at the end of the tunnel... my suggestion would be to compile a kernle that serves your needs. apt-get install kernel-source/2.x.x and then basically you find the source under /usr/src/ together with lots of documentation, also on modules. if you want to keep the same kernel i'd look at /etc/modutils (that's where you can configure your modules) also, the easiest way to load your modules is either /sbin/modprobe or /sbin/modconf /usr/doc/modutils will also give you some ideas on to how debian configures and loads modules... hope that gives you somewhere to start =) best, vester On Tue, 22 May 2001, John Tatum wrote: > Just call me Mr. Newbie.
