Hi, I am trying to install 3Com's 3c990 kernel module for 2.2.x kernels. Compiling the module seems fine, and ive run insmod and got the following output :
gothic:/home/idimmu# insmod 3c990.o 3Com 3c990.c v1.0.0b 10/2000 The PCI BIOS has not enabled the device at 0/64. Updating PCI command 0007->| (PCI_COMMAND_MASTER | PCI_COMMAND_INVALIDATE). I don't know what to do next though. Do I have to alter /etc/modules or something? And is it possible to check if it all works without continously rebooting? Thanks very much. Rus
