If you're going to upgrade libc remember to keep a backup of: - the original packages (libc6, libc6-dev, libdb2) (in general: a backup of every package that you upgrade) - ldconfig (the executable, not the package) - dpkg (idem) You might want to return to the old version.... Iwan.
