The fact that windoze can't be booted is NOT lilo related. For example: try setting the windoze partition active (using fdisk, partition magic, or whatever tool you've got at hand). You'll see that windoze will not boot.
What I don't understand is how you've been able to install windoze on a non-HDA1 partition... I got my dos and windoze on SDA2 and SDA1 respectively, both on primary partitions. My bootmanager (BootMagic) hides one of them, so DOS/WIN will always see itself on SDA1. The only thing I can think of, is using a bootmanager that'll hide HDA and HDB upon booting. Else you have to put your vaporware on HDA... > > i heard you can run it from the secondary controller...you have to do > something like... > > > other=/dev/hdc1 > label=windows > table=/dev/hdc > map-drive=0x80 > to=0x82 > map-drive=0x82 > to=0x80 > > > or something like that.... > ----- End forwarded message ----- __________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape Webmail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com/
