Do you have 'ou=People, dc=...' already present in the LDAP tree?  I'm
thinking you can't create a node unless the parent node already exists.

My guess is that you need to create nodes 'dc=com',
'dc=restorative-management, dc=com' and 
'ou=People, dc=restorative-management, dc=com' before you can add yourself
in the tree.

But I'm no expert, correct me if I'm wrong...
