// hi eric, i'm really not in the position to say why it isn't working. my usb mouse was pretty straight forward using kernels 2.4.0 and 2.4.4 and http://www.linux-usb.org/USB-guide/c122.html . you should be able to use a 2.2.19 kernel, but you may find it easier using a 2.4.x kernel. good luck. bentley taylor. //>
