I have prepared some packages that update some packages that are not or only in an older version in Debian 3.0r1. Please read [1] for more information (and read the FAQ before sending mails to me).
I try my best to avoid problems with both installing these packages on Debian 3.0 and upgrading with these packages installed to Debian 3.1. Since the libvorbis packages caused problems for people using unofficial backports of KDE 3.1 I've removed them from my packages. The following command will downgrade all removed packages to the woody ones (if one or more of these packages aren't installed on your system you can skip the packages not present): apt-get --purge install vorbis-tools=1.0rc3-1 \ libvorbis0=1.0rc3-1 libvorbis-dev=1.0rc3-1 It is expected that this command will remove the following packages if they were installed on your system: - libvorbis-compat - libvorbisenc2 - libvorbisfile3 Highlights * gcc 3.2.2 * GNU Ghostscript 7.05 * Kernel 2.4.20 * Lyx 1.2.3 * Mozilla 1.2.1 * OpenOffice.org 1.0.2 * SANE 1.0.11 * Webmin 1.060 * Wine 20030115 * XFree86 4.2.1 Changelog + added: fvwm + added: libnet-google-perl + added: webmin-shorewall + added: xchat Binary packages: o xchat o xchat-common o xchat-gnome o xchat-text + updated: debconf (1.2.23 -> 1.2.27) + updated: doc-linux (2003.01-1 -> 2003.02-1) + updated: mozilla-locale-de-at (1.2.1 -> 1.2.1-1) + updated: openoffice.org-debian-files (1.0.2-1+2 -> 1.0.2-2+1) [contrib] + updated: sane-backends (1.0.11-1 -> 1.0.11-2) + updated: sane-backends-extras (1.0.10.1 -> 1.0.10.2) + updated: strace (4.4.93-1 -> 4.4.94-1) + updated: texmacs (1.0.1-1 -> 1.0.1.4-2) + updated: webmin (1.050-4 -> 1.060-2) + updated: webmin-apache (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-bind (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-burner (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-cfengine (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-cluster-servers (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-cluster-software (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-cluster-useradmin (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-core (1.050-2 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-cpan (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-dhcpd (1.050-2 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-exports (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-fetchmail (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-firewall (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-fsdump (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-grub (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-heartbeat (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-inetd (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-jabber (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-lilo (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-lpadmin (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-lvm (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-mon (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-mysql (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-nis (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-openslp (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-postfix (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-postgresql (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-ppp (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-procmail (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-pserver (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-quota (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-raid (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-samba (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-sendmail (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-sentry (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) [contrib] + updated: webmin-software (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-squid (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-sshd (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-status (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-stunnel (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-vgetty (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-webalizer (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-wuftpd (1.050-1 -> 1.060-1) + updated: webmin-xinetd (1.050-2 -> 1.060-1) + updated: xfsprogs (2.3.6-1 -> 2.3.11-1) + removed: libvorbis + removed: libvorbis-compat + removed: vorbis-tools cu Adrian [1] http://www.fs.tum.de/~bunk/packages/ BTW: I'm not subscribed to debian-user. -- "Is there not promise of rain?"
