There is an UDF filesystem in the kernel sources. But you do not have to recompile your kernel, you can build a separate kernel module. see http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=295 > Is there write support? You can read (and write--depending on the format you used) these CDRWs with M$. If you format the CDRW with your M$ program you read and write this CDRW with M$ and Linux.
