Good catch, thanks. It's kernel-source-2.2.19. I'll upload corrections shortly. > > Also, I downloaded linux-2.2.19.tar.bz2 and I had to create > /usr/src/linux-2.2.19 by hand. You say the source you got was linux-2.2.19.tar.bz2? Is that a Debian package? The reason I ask is I aimed it at getting sources as debianized packages from the archive. When I installed the Debian package it left the tarball in /usr/src as kernel-source-2.2.19.tar.bz2. Then I just went there and untarred it. I'll try to address the difference between using debianized kernel sources and downloading sources elsewhere. I don't want to get to far off though because I want this to be Debian specific. - -- Docs by & for Debian newbies http://newbiedoc.sourceforge.net pgp key at: http://personal.mco.bellsouth.net/~jgoerz -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjrjEqQACgkQUraCO4ktIFfRRwCgiYW0+zWXznrUkR7iLd1TG7oD LMEAnRO7uOqEO+9SN4xu0Y1DTh74QdOw =SE1M -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
