Hi, Sorry if this sounds dense but I have tried this and can't get it to work, I get an error 'unrecognised file format'. I have typed both methods described very carefully and all as one line, and I get the same error message. In my /boot directory, there is only the one file called 'vmlinuz-2.2.18pre21' is this different to the 'vmlinux ...' file you mention. I just wondered is this a source file or something which I need?
