check your kernel, if its 2.2.18pre21 or later, you need to use /dev/input/mice as the mouse device. if you installed potato r2 then that device already exists. if not check -powerpc archives for how to create it (hint, its not be destroying your box with a dev .rpm). or i can send you a small shellscript to populate /dev/input. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
