I would like to get Linux installed on a recently purchased HP Omnibook 500. It has a PIII/600Mhz processor, 192MB Ram. There is no built in CD, but I have a USB CD drive that plugs into the notebook and also an external floppy.
So can Linux/Debian be run on such a beast. What versions of the kernel would be required? Anyone have any experience? -walter
