mozilla is exceedingly broken about multiuser systems. but its not required to run it as root first, you just have to generate its windows registry with a small crappy util they have now. check the debian package's postinst script, that allows mozilla to work in readonly directories without ever running it as root. -- Ethan Benson http://www.alaska.net/~erbenson/
