Hi, I'd just install Debian on new HD, but in case you're wondering about mirorsav.fil, it's probably a hidden file, so that might be why you can't easily see it. Of course, this doesn't really matter if you go with Debian on new HD. As other poster said, use LILO to create entry in MBR on master HD.
