On my potato system i installed kdm (uninstall xdm first) and put all the window-managers into the /etc/X11/kdm/kdmrc file at SessionType=kde2,default,failsafe,icewm,enlightenment,sawfish, This works wonderfully for me (didn't try gnome yet). -- Karsten Heymann Netzwerkverwaltung Forschungsstelle für Ökosystemtechnik Universität Kiel
