X and S3 trio 3d/2x

Hi, 
I use a S3 trio 3d/2x video card, which is not supported by X (even with 
X4.0.2) with other han 640*480 in 256 colors mode (just annoying for a 8mo card)
Does someone knows if a driver was recently released for this card or knows a 
solution (except changin my card) to the problem?
