rxvt can achieve "transparency." i just use the command: rxvt-xpm -tr and for, say, a yellow foreground: rxvt-xpm -fg yellow -tr (season to taste... i, too, like having transparency, which looks a heck of a lot better than that windows shi*. ...ah, the beauty of linux...) hth. bentley taylor // >
