i had something > similar < apparently had to do with perl (here too ?), took the risk, machine still works ... had to reinstall a bit. This, of course, is caused by some package wich is set to be removed and causes a cascade of dependencies to be activated. Most of the time this can be caused by a lib wich is upgraded/obsolete between versions, things like this can happen
