Problem #1:I've been running Woody without much of a problem for a couple of months. Yesterday I upgraded the kernel to 2.4.2, and every 5 minutes I get the following message added to mail:
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Cron Daemon) To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Cron <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> if [ -x /usr/bin/mrtg ]; then /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg.cfg; fi X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh> X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/root> X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/bin> X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=root> Date: Sun, 04 Mar 2001 17:10:01 -0500 /bin/sh: /usr/bin/mrtg: No such file or directory I'm not sure if the problem started with the kernel upgrade or with an apt-get dist-upgrade. Problem #2 I ran apt-get dist-upgrade today, and I get an error on install. The error is as follows: /bin/sh: /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure: No such file or directory E: Sub-process /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure --apt returned an error code (127) E: Failure running script /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure --apt Any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks, Glen
