Hello, I did not succeed in running multiple instances of mysql server on the same machine. I want them to be absolutely independent (separate data to work on, separate port etc) The mysql manual shows a way via recompiling the whole thing. I doubt this is the only way to do it, if anyone succeeded please write a step-by-step description.
