All is joy,
Browsing "tasksel" I looked at the info on the DNS packages.
"dnsutils - Utilities for Querying DNS Servers" was one of the entrys.
I tried an "apt-get install dnsutils"
error was it was already installed.
So I thought I'd try removal and reinstallation.
After "apt-get remove dnsutils" ...
and before "apt-get install dnsutils" ...
just for the heck of it I tried a "whois" ...
AND THE BLOODY THING WORKED!
No I don't understand, but at least it's working now. Anyone wish to
enlighten me on the why's? Thanks for everyones help and patience.
