I have my Deb box on a 192.168.1.xxx network which deb setup during install. I recently needed to change over to direct access (bypassing the intranet) to the internet. I went into linuxconf and made the changes. No Joy ... internet was inaccessable. I have done this on a mandrake box and it worked fine. In fact I even duplicated the entrys from such a "working" box when I tried again and again .... What am I missing? One strange side note. The 1st time I went in to edit the entrys there were NO ENTRYS????
