The Blackdown JVM has some bugs , that is you can't use the debugger so I install IBM's JVM1.3 , which is cool by the way , via the rpm -> alien. It installed OK , witout problems but now the system doesn't know that there is a JVM !! . For example if I try to compile from Emacs , the result is /bin/bash: java: command not found.
