Hello, apt-get install aumix Run aumix and set your volume in console mode, or an xterm. Play your music.
fail? Check your connections to the sound card. start playing your music with high volume and go from one jack to the next until you discover your SPEAKER jack. IIRC the sb16 didn't indicate what was what.
