Hi all ! I saw a post questioning about Nvidia drivers,and debs.I have not seen any .debs of Nvidia's drivers, but the new tgz ones from www.nvidia.com work like a charm. (new = January 18th 2001)
INCLUDING WITH KERNEL 2.4 !!! There here: http://www.nvidia.com/Products/Drivers.nsf/Linux.html the FAQ is quite good , so you shouldn't have any problem getting X to work with the Nvidia driver.
