Hello, fellow Debian List readers. :) Hmmm... Having a small question which is more or less related to Debian, but even though we are using Debian on our machines, I'll try posting here first... So, seems one of our customers wants to get rid of a crappy M$ Exchange server which they were using for doing company workgroup scheduling using Outlook... We offered them a network with Linux boxes for both servers and workstations, and we wanted to introduce StarOffice 5.2 as doing that scheduling stuff since we already heard about the StarOffice Scheduler Server which more or less is doing exactly what we want... Sadly by now I only was able to find this program as binary version for Windows9x / NT and not for Linux, even though I am pretty sure there *is* such a version... Can anyone give me a hint and tell me where to look for that one? :)
Other side: I am thinking about using StarOffice there since they will probably need it on Linux to get along with all the office files (.doc, .xls) anyhow, so it's okay to also use this for scheduling... Otherwise, I would be interested in knowing software for doing right this scheduling stuff, so if anyone can give me a hint on that. :)) Thanks in advance, have a nice day. :) Kris -- Kristian Rink paper: +49 180 5052 5560 8162 phone: +49 174 5360871 icq : 48874445 (Krishna) irc : #metal on IRCNet (Kawazu)
