I have an old copy of Slackware installed. It uses kernel 2.0.27. Snce I have not had a lot of time to investigate Linux I am still somewhat of a novice. (Having a relatively good command of the language I never use "newbie"). I do, however, want to know if it is possible, or even desireable, to switch from Slackware to Debian as I understand that they use the same kernel.
Any input would be appreciated. Shane
