Just replace ext3 to ext2 in /etc/fstab. Unless it's not the root fs and noone is using something on it (init 1), you can just type # umount /somedir # mount -t ext2 /dev/blockdev /somedir and it should be mounted as ext2. so long Thomas -- ___ Obviously we do not want to leave zombies around. _/___\ - W.
