I did this a couple of weeks ago on a Dell Optiplex under Debian 2.2r2. Like you, I downloaded the agpgart driver from the Intel site and compiled it locally. I didn't use XFree version 4, just the 3.3.6 which comes with Debian. It all works nicely. I didn't use the XF86Setup program, though, I just hand-edited XF86Config. I'll gladly send you the config file, but maybe it's crucial at your site that the XF86Setup program work in the way you describe? Jim
