Pine is included as pine4-src and pine4-diffs, because you aren't allowed to distribute modified pine-binaries and the originals won't fit the Debian policies (AFAIK where pine stores it's config-files). But you can download the original binaries from www.washington.edu/pine, they work fine. But give mutt a try. It's hard to configure, but it's worth the effort, because it's much better than any other mailclient I ever used. A few weeks ago I used also pine, but mutt is better. The most important feature from mutt is, that it can handle threads like a newsreader, so that it is much easier to handle mailinglists. Just don't get afraid of the configuration and read carefully whatever you can find about it! There are tons of features you'll never want to miss again! Have a nice time Stephen Rueger
