You don;t mention which country in which you reside. I can guess that you are based in the US.
I suggest that you spend a small amount of money and purchase an already tested copy from a vendor. The knoppix website provides a list of vendors who are willing to do the burning and testing for you for minimal return. I've decided to sue Knoppix, to at least get some of the setup stuff (X for instance) on my new laptop. Unfortunatley I gave away the bootable CD I gad made, and I've spent the last 3 nights downloading ISO's and burnign CD's, and have yet to come up with a working one. Can anyone give me a site they no works, and the cdrecord command line they sued to create the bootable CD? -- "They that would give up essential liberty for temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
