if you use MUTT, reply on-list using 'L' or off-list (directly to the individual poster) using 'r'... headers in the message you sent, include From: Xucaen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: how to reply to messages To: debian-user@lists.debian.org Resent-Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Resent-From: debian-user@lists.debian.org X-Mailing-List: <debian-user@lists.debian.org> archive/latest/124099 X-Loop: debian-user@lists.debian.org so mutt's "r" goes to whatever's in the "FROM:" field, and "L" goes to one of "RESENT-FROM" or "X-MAILING-LIST" or "X-LOOP". i'm sure the mutt dox tell you which, if it's important... :) [i'd guess x-mailing-list] -- There are only two places in the world where time takes precedence over the job to be done.
