Hi, A lot of the of the optional packages that have been marked for installation don't install when using dselect. Instead it produces the following error :
Media Change: Please insert the disc labeled 'Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 r0 _Potato_ -Official i386 Binary-3 (20000814)' in the drive '/cdrom/' and press enter E: Internal Error, Couldn't configure a pre-depend Some errors occurred while unpacking. I'm going to configure the packages that were installed. This may result in duplicate errors or errors caused by missing dependencies. This is OK, only the errors above this message are important. Please fix them and run [I]nstall again Press enter to continue. Though I am able to install many of these packages individually using apt-get. I would be grateful if you could tell me how may I find which is the package causing the dependency problem or if there is any other work around this.
