Ugh... if this isn't in a FAQ somewhere, it should be...

The list server uses message headers to tell you that this is list mail.
The headers X-MailingList, X-Loop, and Resent-From all tell you that
this message is from the debian-user list. You are free to use this
information however you like. I use procmail to sort mailing list
messages into separate folders, using a recipe like this:

:0
* ^(Resent-From|X-Mailing-List):.*debian-user
$MAILDIR/debian-user/

So rather than asking the world to change for your convenience, I
suggest respectfully that you learn to use the tools that are freely
available to you for your own convenience, since the world is already
giving you everything you really need.
