I had Red Hat installed on my Presario as a dual boot system. It had its own hard drive, and worked somewhat, but eventually it flashed the BIOS and the whole motherboard had to be replaced.
I was told (tersely) by Compaq Support that Presarios are NOT GOOD with Linux. But, I WANT LINUX. Namely, I want Debian. Anybody know about Presarios and Debian?
