What kind of controler is it? I saw support for "PROMISE PDC20246/PDC20262/PDC20267" in kernel 2.4.0pre1test11, but none in 2.2.x kernels. Maybe you can install it on another system and exchange the hd's then - after putting the newest 2.4 kernel on it, of course... -Cajus
