Hi, all... It was a while since I asked for some help with my SB Live under Debian. I was having trouble with the pre-compiled modules (kernel version mis-match).
So, some kind person pointed me to source for the emu10k1 driver (how was I supposed to know this had anything to do with SBLive? never found any info to link that keyword to an SBLive). Long story made shorter, I was able to compile a working version the the driver as a module for my kernel. Helpful hint: SBLive uses the emu10k1 driver source available from http://opensource.creative.com/ Nite! -Chris
