I am having a problem with my Agfa SnapScan 310 SCSI scanner. Using The Gimp/Sane the scanner works fine when I set xscanimage to do a grescale scan. When I set it to colour, however, I get just a series of colour blocks. The downward spiral started a while back with previous versions of Sane - I would get a recognisable sacn but with very bas colour fringing. An old version (around v7) worked fine.
