Oh, boy did I spend a lot of time trying to get jpilot-sync to work with hotplug to hot sync my m500. Ended up with Kernel Oops and an unstable machine after trying to hotsync. Here's a summary of my troubles, still unsolved. http://www.jpilot.org/pipermail/jpilot/2003-January/001356.html I'm currntly manually hotsyncing as described there. Kind of a pain. I don't know what the trouble is -- my USB scanner also fails quite often and I suspect USB kernel problems (boot machine with WinXP and scanner and hotsync works perfectly). I posted for help here, jpilot list, hotsync list, and kernel usb list -- and no solution yet. I may try a 2.5.x kernel at some point. -- Bill Moseley [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
