Brian Schramm, I have a cs4232 audio card running Woody. I have fought with my sound on many of a night. It is working now! Here is a copy of my /etc/modutils/sndconfig. You do not have to use sndconfig to get it to work. It is just a little easier. alias sound-slot-0 cs4232 options sound dmabuf=1 alias midi opl3 options opl3 io=0x388 options cs4232 io=0x534 irq=5 dma=1 dma2=0 mpuio=0x330 mpuirq=10 If this is a problem try: modprobe sound insmod ad1848 insmod uart401 insmod opl3 io=0x388 modprobe cs4232 io=0x534 irq=5 dma=1 dma2=0 mpuio=0x330 mpuirq=10 I hope this is helpful. carlos -- > Unsubscribe? mail -s unsubscribe [EMAIL PROTECTED] < /dev/null -- Carlos E.
