Free X server, no. There are a few good X servers running typically about $100/seat. Better alternative though is VNC -- virtual network computer. Legacy MS Windows and GNU/Linux clients and servers are available -- as packages in Debian, or from the source site (search Google) for Legacy MS Windows. -- Karsten M.
