imho, there is great chance that the problem comes from your canonical
If not done, you should enter sthg like this in /etc/postfix/canonical :
user_name [EMAIL PROTECTED]
root [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Then, in comand line:
# postmap canonical
# postfix reload
--
