Hi Folks;
Have read all the manual on this that I could find and
looked at the archives on Debian.org with no luck.
So here goes! Haves set up wvdial with all the info as
requested. Can get wvdial to contact my ISP and then
pppd dies and it tells me to look in /var/log for any
error messages. There are no error messages regarding
pppd here. So I looked at syslog which has the following:
"pppd: must be root to run /usr/sbin/pppd, since it is not
setuid-root."
What do I need to do to get this operating as a regular
user?
