Quake 3 still not running

It's me again still complaining about Quake 3.  I did a fresh install of Debian-potato and then installed the official XFree 4.0.1 .deb packages (I know, its the easy way. .. )  Now, when quake starts up, it gives this as it kills X (this is just a snippet of the full log) :   (**) Option "Protocol" "PS/2" (**) Mouse1: Protocol: "PS/2" (**) Option "CorePointer" (**) Mouse1: Core Pointer (**) Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" (==) Mouse1: Buttons: 3 (**) Option "Emulate3Buttons" (**) Mouse1: Emulate3Buttons, Emulate3Timeout: 50 (II) Keyboard "Keyboard1" handled by legacy driver (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Mouse1" (type: MOUSE) Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list! SwitchToMode _ scrn: 0 clock: 25200 hdsp: 640 hbeg: 656 hend: 752 httl: 800 vdsp: 480 vbeg: 490 vend: 492 vttl: 525 flags: 10 Fatal server error: Caught signal 11. Server aborting   It happens whenever I start Quake.  I now have a generic TNT2 Vanta card installed.   Thanks in advance,   Brandt Dusthimer
