Hi, So X won't recognize the mouse on my system - gpmconfig can see it, but when X starts, I get the following message:
System: 'usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/xkbcomp -w1 -R/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb -xkm -m us -em1' "The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports: "-emp"> " -em1 "Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server" keymap/xfree86 compiled/xfree86.xkm' Fatal server error: Cannot open mouse (no such file or directory) It's a PS/2 mouse, 2 button, very basic. Again, it works in text (console) mode.
