Kdevelop really is a standard IDE ( Integrated Development Environment ) It include a Graphical Debugger ( Kdbg : Really useful ) and a Customizable Graphical Editor ( Choose Kwrite at kdevelop install ). You can Also use Kwrite and/or Kdbg separately. For all this you will have to Instal a full Kde. Don't choose KDE2, kdevelop needs KDE 1.2 & associated qt libraries You can have a look at www.kdevelop.org before installing.
